After Tashan's debacle at the box-office, Yash Raj Films has been forced to release four of its upcoming films as per the terms and conditions laid down by the multiplexes

Following the Yash Raj Films reconciliation with the multiplexes which facilitated the release of Tashan yesterday, YRF's four upcoming films will release on the usual terms offered by the multiplexes to all the producers. CEO of YRF, Sanjeev Kohli represented the production house when the deal was inked.

Bollywood's most powerful film family is divided over some recent business and creative decisions. Till recently whatever Yashraj Films touched, turned to gold, and the man credited with the Midas touch was the all-powerful Aditya Chopra. However, following last year's debacle of several of the films greenlighted by him - Tara Rum Pum, Lagaa Chunari Mein Daag, Aaja Nachle - differences began showing up between Adi and the patriarch Yash Chopra.

For all practical and public purposes however the family kept a united front. But this week's debacle of Tashan, one of the bigger Yashraj releases this year, once again brought into open the conflict father and son have over how things are managed at the YRF Studios. Our sources say that Yash Chopra, deeply disturbed by the way Tashan finally shaped up, and the breakdown of negotiations with multiplex owners which led to the film being released only in single-screen theatres, took his son to task and even threatened to take charge of how the studio was run.

Yash Raj Films' Tashan has lots of style. From a sexy and sometimes blonde Kareena Kapoor, to a cool looking Akshay Kumar, wearing gamchas.
The man behind the designs is Aki Narula, a fashion designer who has done films like Don, Bluffmaster and Garam Masala.
