Incidentally, the actress had left her purse behind and asked Khan to fetch it for her, which he did pronto... anything to please the lady! Now, if that’s not chivalry, what is?

Kareena Kapoor joined by beau Saif Ali Khan and her parents performed a small grahpravesh puja at her new home in suburban Mumbai. The actress has purchased two flats in Rose Queen in Khar. At around 11.30 this morning Karisma, Babita, Randhir, Kareena and Saif got together for an intimate puja.

Kareena’s side of the flat (divided from her mother’s by a pantry) is still not ready and she will do the puja next week.

The puja was a small affair attended by the family Randhir, Babita, Karisma (inset), Kareena and Saif. The only industry guest was Shabina Khan.

The party was hosted in honour of Kareena's best friend Amrita Arora who is getting married on March 6. Interestingly, Kareena's former beau Shahid Kapur also celebrated his birthday by throwing a grand party at China House, last night. Since Shahid too had invited several people from the film industry, common friends of Kareena and Shahid were left wondering whose party to attend. Interestingly, designer Shabina Khan was going to attend both. It may be recalled that she had a lot to do with the Shahid-Kareena romance.
