Bipasha takes up Kareena's reject

A long time ago, Kareena Kapoor had vigorously laughed off rumours of acting in a Hollywood film with The Mummy villian Billy Zane. Now, rumours circulate that Bipasha Basu just might work in this movie!


Bollywood-land is abuzz with news that music director Tabun who has diversified into production will work on this movie. It will be his second film after a film directed by Basu Chatterjee.


This film, Chaimera, will be a thriller and Zane and Basu in lead roles. Kunal Kapoor will do a cameo. Director Daniel Silverman who made The Devil Wears Prada will direct.


The film will be bilingual - Hindi and English - and the shooting will be done on a non-stop shooting schedule from March in Pachgani. Basu plays an Asian girl and has already been paid and rather well, we're told!


Though we do wonder what she thinks of picking up a Kareena-reject...
