On changing times of the Bollywood, where glittering stars would like to take a plunge into politics, actor Kareena Kapoor today made it clear that she is from a different genre.

Awara: My grandfather Raj Kapoor has done remarkable work and I consider him as one of the pioneers of Indian cinema. Thus most of my favourite films are the ones having him. Awara is my favourite as I loved the chemistry between my Raj and Nargis.

Sangam: The big conflict between love and friendship was shown in Sangam and the subject was so thought provoking.

Bobby: Bobby is a cult film of sorts for me as for the first time Indian cinema saw two teenagers as lead actors in a movie. Dimple and Rishi Kapoor looked so cute together and the film also was a trend setter in terms of the fashion it promoted. Dimple’s mini skirts were such a huge rage back then.

Kal Aaj Aur Kal: This one’s my favourite as it was my dad’s debut film! Also it is the only film where my entire family � three generations have worked together!

Zubeida: My sister Karisma was brilliant in this film and so was Rekhaji. Lata Mangeshkar’s songs were just ethereal.
