Kareena-Kajol in Karan's Stepmom
Everyone knows Karan Johar is remaking Stepmom with Kajol and Kareena Kapoor playing the roles done to ‘depth’ by Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts.
What nobody knows is that the original screenplay is being considerably rewritten to etch out Julia Roberts part so that there would be many more confrontational sequences between ‘mom’ Kajol and ‘stepmom’ Kareena.
Kareena to chop off her hair
Kareena Kapoor seems to be taking a lot of inspiration from Aamir Khan. What else can explain her penchant to don a new look in every film that she signs.
After losing weight for Tashan she gained a few pounds for Rensil D’Silva’s film. Now, we hear the gal plans to chop off her tresses for her movie with Karan Johar that also stars Kajol and is a remake of the Hollywood film Step Mom .
Sources say, “This is the first time Kareena’s going to go for a haircut for a role. Though her look has to be decided she is keen to look drastically different.”

Kareena sends mommy on vacation
It was a grand day for Babita when she turned another year older recently.
And her daughters the lovely Karisma and Kareena Kapoor were present in full force (read: with their respective better halves). Yes, Sanjay Kapur and Saif Ali Khan were all set to make her feel on top of the world. “It was the most touching and memorable moment for Babita,” said a close friend of the family.
“Bebo gifted Babita a surprise holiday package... She thinks her mom is one person who truly deserves a vacation,” adds the friend. And while Kareena has sent mommy on an international trip, actor Arjan Bajwa (you saw him in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion) is taking his ma to Malaysia for Mother’s Day!
“I have not got to spend much time with her for more than a year now because I have been busy with work commitments. So I think I need some bonding time with my mom,” he told us. So some mommies are flying high this Mother’s Day.

The best part of being a Bollywood celeb is that too often your nickname assumes significance over your real name. The obsession with nicknames seems to be part of the Bollywood tradition. Now, after bebo crossed paths with chote nawab Saif Ali Khan, the Pataudis have always wanted to give her a new name. Now, the new nickname for Kareena Kapoor is formally ritualized, as the Pataudi household loves to refer Kareena as choti begum.
It's learnt that Saif played a bigger role in naming Kareena in true nawabi style. Well, for the moment, looks like the couple are just basking in the light of their new identities.
